About Curdridge Candles

Chandlery (candle making) dates back thousands of years, when having a light source was a true necessity. Nowadays, candles can be an important part of self care routines and relaxation rituals. Personally I experience candlelight not only relaxing but also a useful aid for meditation and mindfulness practice. There’s nothing quite like the glow emitting from a flickering flame, especially on darker evenings, making you feel all warm and cosy.

Hello, my name is Sharon and I'm the founder of Curdridge Candles. I work as a counsellor and have a passion for making candles. Every candle design and fragrance used at Curdridge Candles is inspired by my work as a counsellor.

While some products provide an energy boost, others contain soothing scents to help you wind down after a stressful day. You can read more about the effects of candlelight and scent psychology here.

And I have created a candle making blog to share the creative candle making process with you.

While candlelight can be a great tool to soothe your mind, scented candles can also transport your senses. Whether you're entertaining guests, enjoying a candlelit dinner or having a long luxurious soak in the bath, scented candles can lift your mood and enhance your home environment. And speaking of environment, the wax, fragrance, dye and decorative additives are:

Vegan Friendly
Cruelty Free
Paraben and Silicon Free
IFRA & EU Compliant Fragrance oils
Packaging is either 100% recycled or FSC certified materials

Further information about ingredients and packaging materials can be found here

So you can treat yourself or someone you know to a range of affordable luxurious products knowing that every purchase supports a sustainable choice. All products are handmade in small batches in Curdridge, a village in the heart of the Hampshire countryside.
